Seventy
Seventy Financial Planning, a brand and website built to bridge the advice gap
Chris Riley founded Seventy to help make financial advice accessible to everyone. In a sector where fewer than one in six people take advice, and many are priced out until they reach peak earning years, Chris set out to change the norm.
The proposition is bold, with three distinct service levels: full, hybrid and self-managed. These give people the right level of advice, at the right time, for the right cost. It’s a big idea, but the brand and website weren’t fit to support it.
They needed a partner who understood financial services and could bring this inclusive vision to life. That’s when Chris came to PLOTT.
Bringing warmth and personality to show financial planning is for everyone
The existing brand felt too traditional and masculine, a mismatch for a proposition built on accessibility. Our task was to create a modern, approachable identity that felt both trustworthy and inviting.
Through our brand workshop, we redefined Seventy’s positioning and shaped a fresh visual identity. Bold colours and warm, characterful illustrations softened the overall look, creating a sense of calm and reassurance. Copywriting played a key role too. We wrote a confident story for the brand and biographies for the team, helping Seventy connect with clients on a more human level.
The result is a brand that balances professionalism with warmth. It speaks of trust, but also of openness. It’s financial planning designed for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
Project deliverables
Turning Chris’ vision into an engaging interactive experience for clients
The website was just as important as the brand. The old version was dated, text-heavy and uninspiring. To deliver on Chris’s ambition, the new site needed to feel modern, easy to use, and built to generate leads.
The standout feature is a bespoke interactive quiz designed to help visitors quickly identify which level of advice is right for them. We worked with Chris to design the questions and outcomes first, before developing custom software to power it. The finished quiz combines brevity with intelligence, wrapped in a slick, app-like interface that reflects Seventy’s fintech ethos.
Alongside this, we structured the site with clear calls to action, a welcoming design, and messaging that communicates trust and authority without jargon. Built on modern technical foundations, the site is fast, secure and scalable, ready to support Seventy’s growth for years to come.

“We knew we needed an update and rethink regarding our website. The team at PLOTT have been skilled, patient and great to work with. Their brand work took us in a direction I didn’t expect, but am very pleased with. I would not hesitate in recommending PLOTT to others.”
