Brand scan
Your brand and website should reflect the quality of your service. If not you could be losing opportunities.
The Brand scan is a review of your current website and branding, carried out by the PLOTT team. We’ve been helping financial advice firms for over 15 years, so you’ll get honest feedback. No jargon, no BS, and no obligation.
Brand messaging and positioning
We’ll review how clearly your brand communicates what you do, who you work with, and why it matters to your clients. We’ll check whether your tone of voice feels consistent, confident and audience appropriate. We’ll be looking to see whether it’s all coming through clearly in your messaging.
Visual identity
We’ll take a look at your logo, colour palette, typography and imagery. Are they consistent? Are they relevant and modern? Does your site look like it belongs to a firm of your calibre? If your target audience is clear, we’ll feed back on whether your visuals are a good fit. If it’s not clear, we’ll say that too.
Website performance and best practice
Most of the Brand Scan focuses on your current website by necessity, because that’s where many people will initially engage with your brand. We’ll also review performance, accessibility and basic technical health. This will include performance (speed and accessibility), mobile responsiveness, and compliance with best practices. You’ll get a snapshot of how well your site functions and where it’s letting you down.
Audience alignment
Good branding is about making a connection. We’ll check whether your brand speaks to a well-defined audience, and whether it’s doing that well. We’ll look at the clarity of your messaging and how effectively your content addresses the kinds of problems your clients are hoping to solve.
Brand consistency
Finally, we’ll assess how consistent your brand appears across your site and, where relevant, on public-facing channels like LinkedIn. Does it feel joined up? Are there signs of direction — or signs of drift? If it looks like you’re missing the glue that holds everything together, we’ll let you know.
